My Story

It is a great joy in my heart to greet you through this hoping our Lord is blessing you! I am Kimberly Liliana Ruiz Gutierrez. I am turning 7 years old this September. At school, I am in kindergarten II and I take my classes in the morning. I try to help my mother with some chores, and at the same time, I am learning about the housework. My mother does the housework, but she also sells fruits outside of the school of our village to help my father with the expenses. My father works both as a farmer and a day laborer. We raise hens for our food and some of them for selling. We do not have our own land to farm but my parents rent a place to do it; we cultivate corn and black beans. Thankfully, we are doing well, but I want you to keep us in your prayer for our well-being.

We are members of a Christian Church; my parents and I have welcomed Jesus into our hearts. I like to attend church and participate in the bible teaching. I thank God for blessing me through Living Water. I receive food and medicines which are a great help for me and my family. My favorite meal from the program is chicken in tomato sauce because it is delicious. I love participating in the Christmas celebration that the evangelism team prepares in the feeding program. I like the decorations, the carols and Jesus’ birth message. Later, I would like to join the LW team and serve; it must be a wonderful experience serving others. Let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW staff to share news about me. Many thanks for your love and support. May our heavenly Father bless you wherever you go!
