Hello! I send you many greetings hoping you are doing well wherever you are. I am Jose Alejandro Gutierrez Mendez, and I am happy to tell you about my life. Thank God, I am fine, and I turned 13 in June. I am in 4th grade this year, and I am attending school in the mornings. I help to collect firewood under the trees in my free time. I like playing soccer with my siblings on weekends. I am grateful to Living Water because I have been blessed with lunches through the feeding program; my favorite dish is fried chicken. A beautiful activity at the program is the Christmas celebration because I receive my present. I would like to ask for your prayers for my mother’s health and my father’s job.
I live with my parents in a place called “Pacoc 1”. My dad works as a day laborer, and he goes to work in the coffee plantations at the coast from November to February. My mom works hard at home and takes care of us. She has a kind of lump in her neck, and she was checked in the last LW medical campaign. She is not under a medical treatment, and she says that this does not hurt or bother her. We raise hens and sell some of them. We also grow corn but it is not enough for the whole year. We attend Full Gospel Church, and LW Evangelism team has encouraged us to continue trusting in God. My mother helped me to give all this information to an Evangelism teacher. I want to end my letter giving you thanks in advance for reading my letter.
In Jesus name
Jose Alejandro Gutierrez Mendez
