It is a great opportunity for me to greet you and express my gratitude for all you have done for me. In this occasion, I would like to start my letter asking for your prayers for my family and me since we have been passing through difficult situations. First, it has been very difficult for us to overcome my father’s absence. It has been one of my hardest experiences, and only God has been able to help us. On the other hand, mother still has a hernia problem, and she continues under a medical treatment; please keep her in your prayers too. She does her best to cover our needs by raising and selling pigs, but it is not enough for everything. Fortunately, my oldest siblings are helping her with some groceries.
Thank God, I am in good health, and I just turned 12 in October. I attended school this year, and I was in 2nd grade; classes are already over and I am now on vacation. I have a friend named Juana, and I like playing tag with her; we have been friends for many years. I love spending my time with my mom since she is the person with whom I identify most. As a family, we are attending Assembly of God Church, and we love it when there are fasting or praying services. For me, Jesus is my faithful friend. We are secure in our Salvation, and we have received encouragement from LW Evangelism team. Well, I say goodbye to you for now, and I hope to have news from you soon.
Many blessings
Maria Wendy Larios Quino
