My Story

It is my pleasure to greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope He is blessing you wherever you are! Praise the Lord my family and I attend a Christian Church; we go all week. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God. Thankfully, I am healthy and so is my family. My mother is Fatima Areli Lazaro Hernandez, and she is 27 years old. She does not work out of home, but she stays busy with the chores at home. My father is Edwin Martin Yucute Guicoy, and he is 33 years old. He is employed as a mason, and he can support us in this way. Our pets are a dog and two parakeets.

This is Melany Rosmeri Yucute Lazaro, and I am 9 years old. I am a third-grade student; I receive classes at school which is contributing to my learning; I also enjoy sharing time with my classmates. Fortunately, I receive support from my school and my parents have a big savings because they do not have to spend much money on school supplies. My dream is to study to become a good cook because it is very interesting for me. Let me tell you, the language that catches my attention is English, so I want to learn it. I get so excited when my birthday comes, and my family celebrates with a cake and a lunch. They love me so much. I like Christmas time because there are firecrackers; My favorites are the little volcanoes. Let me tell you that my favorite drink is “arroz con leche” (a hot drink made with rice, milk, cinnamon and sugar) because it is delicious. The sport I like the most is football. Being part Living Water has blessed my life because I receive tasty meals, and medical care in the clinics which is so helpful for me and my family. My family and I have gone through difficulties because we need a house to live quietly, so the top priority for us is a place to live. We trust in God who knows the necessity that we have. Well, this is all for now and I hope to receive news from you very soon. Every kind of blessing to you!

Bunch of hugs,

Melany Rosmeri Yucute Lazaro
