My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter. My name is Dulce, and it is a privilege to share my last news with you. My family and I attend the Catholic Church every Sunday. I am glad because a teacher of LW shared the gospel with my mother and encouraged her spiritually. The teacher also used that moment to collect all my information for you. Unfortunately, I do not have my father with me because he has another family. His name is Juan Cojolon. He does not keep in touch with me or help me economically. Thankfully, I count on my stepfather's moral and economic support. His name is Jose Rolando and he is 36 years old. He makes a living as a security agent to support our family. My mother, Claudia Paxel, is 33 years old. She is a hardworking housewife. Our economic situation is passing through troubles because sometimes there is no money to cover the expenses or to buy school supplies. What we need the most are groceries and a new bed.

I want to take advantage of this opportunity to thank LW for all the blessings that my family and I can get. I know it is also thanks to many good-hearted people like you. I am in fourth grade this year and I agree to receive face-to-face classes. My mother says that my learning is improving thanks to the current school method. I would love to become a doctor and speak English someday. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I enjoy receiving Christmas gifts. I love drinking lemonade and eating a delicious cake, especially if it is my birthday. Soccer is the most popular sport in my country, but my favorite is basketball. As for health, I want you to know that my whole family and I are doing well. We have one dog and three doves at home. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to tell you more about my pets later.
