My Story

This is Julio Alberto Tzunux, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are now attending the Catholic Church on Wednesday. We trust in God, and we pray to Him every day. We have hens, pigs and turkeys at home. We do not have a piece of land to sow crops, so we buy corn and black beans. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries. My mother’s name is Petrona. She is 49 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and raises domestic animals to sell. One of my oldest siblings is in the United States, and he sends money for our needs.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 9 years old, and I am healthy. I am repeating second grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because the teacher explains to us better how to do the homework. It has been difficult for my mother to cover my school expenses because there are times that my mother does not have money to buy what is requested at school. I want to become a rancher when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because we share a special lunch as a family. I enjoy eating a cake when it is my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking coffee. I would like to learn English language someday. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the delicious food. I hope to hear from you soon.

All the best
