My Story

It is such a blessing to greet you through this letter. I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. My full name is Ashly Dorcas Merari Quexel Alvarado and I am so happy to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about eight years. This has been a great blessing not only for me, but for my family too. I have received food and medicine for free, so thank you so much for making these benefits possible with your donations. Thanks to the loving care of God, I am in good health. I am 12 years old and I am in sixth grade. I usually wash the dishes to contribute to the chores and I like the cold weather. What I like the most at my church is the Sunday School.

I attend a Christian Church alongside my parents and young sister. My mother thinks that God loves us and if we are obedient, we will be admitted into Heaven. Brother Franklin (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged us to keep going in our faith. I want you to know that my whole family is doing well and my parents strive to support my sister and me. My father works as a farmer and my mother makes tortillas to sell. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray for our well-being. May God bless you!
