My Story

Hello! I am Nimci Rashel Guzman Hernandez, and I am so happy to write this letter to you. Let me tell you that my whole family and I are doing well. I turned 8 years old in April. I am in second grade this year, and I am doing my best. As you know, my father abandoned my family and me. However, I am so happy because Jesus is my good Father who takes care of me. I want to share that one of my uncles gave me a lovely doll as a Christmas gift a few years ago. That was the thing I wanted the most! I prayed so much, and God gave me what I longed for through my uncle. So, I consider that was one of the most remarkable experiences I have had.

I love my mom so much. I identify with her because she strives to provide what my siblings and I need. She is dedicated to gathering and selling firewood at home. She also works at San Sebastian Coffee Farm during harvesting time. We faithfully attend Liberty Church. We enjoy the services, especially the time of praise and worship. Now, let me tell you a little about my best friend. Her name is Matilda and I met her about three years ago. We have a lot of fun playing with our toys. Before saying goodbye, I want you to know that my oldest sister helped me write this letter. Have a great day!

In the name of Jesus,
