Hello! I am pleased to tell you a little about my life through this letter. My full name is Wilson Enrique Morente Calachij, and I hope you are doing well. I am 10 years old and attend school as a third grader. I receive classes on the morning shift. I enjoy going out to shepherd sheep alongside my cousins and grandmother. My family and I raise and sell sheep, pigs, and hens to earn a little income. We also grow corn for our consumption. We are doing well, but I would like to count on your prayers for my grandmother’s health. She is under medical treatment to relieve the cramps in her knees. As you know, my mom is a single parent. She is doing well and works hard in a tortilleria business located in the city. Even though her salary is low, she does her best to help me a little economically. Since she decided to look for a job far from our village, my sister and I have lived under the care of my grandmother.
Let me tell you that my grandfather is still living and working in the United States. He helps us economically and keeps in touch with us. My family and I are members of the Assembly of God Christian Church. A teacher of the LW evangelism team talked with my grandmother about Jesus recently. He congratulated her for having accepted Jesus as her Savior. He also encouraged her to continue persevering. LW-Adopt a Child has blessed my family and me so much with food. At the feeding program, my favorite food is fried chicken. I like celebrating Christmas at LW because the staff organizes engaging activities. My favorite part of the celebration is receiving a Christmas gift. I will leave you now, but I appreciate you reading my information. Have a nice day!
Special regards,
Wilson Enrique Morente Calachij
