My Story

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I had a sad experience in my life when my maternal uncle passed away. His name was Omar and I loved him and had a nice connection with him. God has comforted my heart and I feel his presence. Jesus is my faithful friend. I identify with my mother because she gives me good advice. She listens to me and she is always with me. Dayana is my best friend and we talk so much about our personal interests. We met one year ago. My name is Ashley Elizabet Sanchez Rivera, and thankfully, I am in 9^th grade at school. I am 16 years old and I am in good health.

Thankfully, my parents are doing their best for our family and they are a hardworking couple. My mother is thankful for the support that I receive through LW Adopt-A-Child in the Feeding Center and she also is asking for your prayers for her health because sadly, she is suffering again from her right kidney although she had a surgery last year. She only is taking medicines to calm the pain, but she is afraid due to her health situation. She is waiting for a new checkup in the public center and she needs to do some exams to find the reason for the disease. She continues working in her small snacks store in order to support us financially. Her name is Nilda Elisabet Rivera Hernandez. My father is a healthy man and his name is Jose Emmanuel Sanchez Salazar.  He sustains us by working as a messenger. My mother helped to collect this information when LW team visited our home. She listened to the gospel, but unfortunately, we are not attending any church. I would like to ask for your prayers for my mother`s health. Thank you very much. I love you in Jesus’ name!
