My Story

Hi! I greet you cordially and I wish you a blessed and beautiful day.  I want to share some news about my family and me. My name is Joshua Emanuel Palma Mazariegos and I am 8 years old. I want to tell you that we continue attending Power of the Word Church. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my mother and for their encouraging words during the visit. This year I am in 1^st grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes every day and I like this study method because I have learned a lot. Thankfully, my parents strive to support my siblings and me at school in spite of school fees are expensive. My dream is to become a president of the city. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. Children`s Day is my favorite celebration of the year because I love surprises. (In Guatemala we celebrate that day on October 1^st) I like to drink Pepsi-Cola. I like to celebrate my birthday with a delicious cake and pizza when my mother has a little extra money. Among sports, I prefer soccer. Thank God my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Maria Del Carmen Mazariegos. She is 46 years old. Nowadays, she continues selling chicken in the local market in order to help with home expenses. My father`s name is Carlos Ernesto Palma. He is 61 years old. I want to let you know, that he left for the United States.  He lives and works there as a drywall material installer and he comes home every 6 months. Thank God, we have communication with him and he supports us financially. As a humble and needy family, our current needs are shoes and groceries. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed for instance with the meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gifts that I receive every end of the year. May God bless you richly!
