My Story

Hello! I greet you fondly, hoping your loved ones and you are doing well. My name is Julian Emanuel, and this is my story. I attend Ebenezer Church on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I want to open my heart and tell you about my parents. Unfortunately, they separated about four years ago because of marital problems, but they both live with my siblings and me in the same house. My father is Jose Alfredo Najera Say, and he works by making backpacks. Even though we see him daily at home, he does not talk with us and neither does he helps us economically. This situation has made me sad, so I would love to count on your prayers for my family and me. My mom struggles a lot to support our needs and spend time with us, although it has been hard for her. Her full name is Marleny Yanira Lemus Guzman, and she is 48 years old. She still makes a living as a domestic employee. Fortunately, my whole family is doing well. As for me, let me tell you that I am asthmatic. However, I am doing well because I am under medical treatment. We need groceries, a new bed, a new closet, and school supplies for next year. We only have one cat as a pet at home.

Now, I want to tell you a little bit more about me. I am 15 years old, and this year, I attended school as a ninth grader on Sundays. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because it is the best method for me. I want to continue studying to become a mechanic and speak English. My favorite season is summer because I love the hot weather. When my birthday comes, my mom does her best to buy a delicious cake for me. My favorite drinks are water and natural juices. To end this letter, I want you to know that my mom helped me to give all this information to an AAC member to share it with you. In addition, let me tell you that LW has been a tremendous blessing and help for many children and teenagers like me. Thank you so much for trusting in this project!

Cordiality yours,

Julian Emanuel Najera Lemus
