Good morning! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the feeding program from Living Water. I am Julio Fernando Maldonado Ixchop. I turned 16 years old last April. My mom is still selling hygienic products by catalog and is also selling frying pans. My dad works as an office assistant and he provides for our home expenses. My parents support each other to take care of our family. My eyes are doing well, but I still have medical appointments in the hospital since I had the surgery. I have to do a corneal topography every six months and the cost is Q250.00 = $34.00. I am very thankful because God has provided the resources to take care of my eyes. Besides that, my family and I are doing well.
I am in 10th grade; I started my training in sciences and arts with an orientation in mechanics. My brother is also my friend and we enjoy going out and playing football. I get on very well with my dad because he is very responsible and is teaching me the moral values. I help my mom set up her sale. We attend Catholic Church. It was so kind of the evangelism teacher to share the gospel with us. Jesus is my faithful friend and healer. As a family, we are deeply thankful to Living Water for all the support given to me, and I trust in God, who will reward abundantly everyone who supports the program. I would like you to know that my mom, Marta shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. I say goodbye to you for now. Every kind of blessing over you!
Warm hugs,
Julio Fernando Maldonado Ixchop
