My Story

Hello! My full name is Julio Fernando Maldonado Ixchop, and I fondly greet you through this letter, hoping you enjoy reading this information. Thankfully, I am a healthy 17-year-old teenager. I am in the second and last year of a training in Science and Arts with an orientation in mechanics. I prefer cold weather rather than hot. I have attended the feeding program for about six years, and I like the receiving a Bible message before having my meals. My parents are deeply grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for all the support that I have received. They enrolled me there because they believeed the idea fantastic that I could receive spiritual guidance. Thanks to the LW staff, I have learned to pray and be grateful for everything that God has given my family and me.

I am glad to tell you that I have a lovely and healthy family. My father works as a data entry clerk, while my mother also sells assorted items at the market to support our family. I usually help my mother to put away all her merchandise after coming back from school. I also make my bed, run errands, and sweep to contribute to the chores. My family and I are Catholic people, but we do not attend church at the moment. Could you please pray for us? I want you to know that brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother as an encouragement to look for God.
