My Story

Receive many kisses and hugs from your sponsored child, Mahirony Cecilia Romero Ravanales. I hope you are having a wonderful day wherever you are. I am so happy to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about six years. Besides enjoying delicious meals, I have been blessed with spiritual guidance. What I like the most about the Bible classes is praying. My mother also used to enjoy the benefits of this organization. On Saturdays, she gathered with her friends to receive delicious food and take part in the engaging Bible classes. Today, she is a healthy woman who strives to keep going with me. She makes a living by selling second-hand clothes for girls and hair accessories. My mother and I have passed through challenging situation especially in our economy, but we trust that God will help and hold us.

We are members of the Universal Prophesy Christian Church, and our main motivations to go there are fellowship and unity. We are assured about our salvation. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) encouraged us and proposed the next question: If God asked you why He should allow her to get in Heaven, what will be your answer? My mother said that she was forgiven and she is God's daughter. Now, let me tell you a little bit more about me. By the grace of the Lord, I am a healthy 11-year-old girl. I am repeating 3rd grade at school. Between hot and cold weather, I prefer hot because I enjoy playing with water. At home, I am in charge of washing my shoes and cleaning the table. I sometimes receive a little financial support from my father. He is doing well and still works as a pet groomer.
