My Story

Hello! How are you? I hope you are fine wherever you are. I am writing you to tell you how I have been in 2023. My full name is Diego Giovanni Gonzalez Lopez. Thankfully, I am in good health. I attended 7^th grade this year, and it was a good year because I received face-to-face classes, and it was easier to understand the lessons. Our economic situation is not so good, so it was difficult for my mother to support me with my studies. I am now 14 years old, and I enjoy going out with my family when it is my birthday. I want to become a carpenter when I am older, and I would like to learn English language in the future. I like playing soccer, and I love drinking sodas like Pepsi. My favorite celebration is Christmas because of the presents. I have one dog as a pet.

Living Water has been a great blessing for me because I have received material and spiritual support through the feeding program. We are a humble family, and we are frequently in need of groceries; we are also praying to God so that He provides us the resources to buy a table and a wardrobe. My father’s name is Wilson, and he is 40 years old. My mother’s name is Maria, and she is 35 years old. Sadly, my parents got separated at the middle of the year due to some personal problems, and my dad is not supporting us. My mom is making and selling tortillas to cover our needs. We are still members of Ebenezer Church, and we attend the service on Sunday. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. May God bless you!
