My Story

Hi! I greet you cordially and I wish you a blessed and beautiful day with your family. First of all, my family and I are grateful to Living Water because I receive medical and dental attention in the LW clinics. In addition, I have a meal and spiritual support at the Feeding Program. I want to let you know that we continue attending the Prince of Peace Church every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thank you to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to my aunt during the visit. My family is sure of their salvation in Jesus. My mother´s name is Micaela Garcia Gomez. She is 33 years old. At the moment, she continues living and working in the United States.  She earns a living by working in a dairy in order to support me financially and we have communication with her. We continue living under my grandparent`s care.  My grandfather`s name is Alejandro Garcia De La Cruz.  He is 55 years old. He works as a day laborer. My grandmother`s name is Juana Gomez Ruiz.  She is 50 years old. She works as a maid, and she weaves typical clothes to sell and get some income.  Moreover, she raises hens, pigs, cows, and turkeys to sell. We grow corn, black beans, bananas, pumpkins, and lemons for our family`s consumption. Thankfully, my family and I are in good health.

My name is Yeinly Briseyda Garcia, and I am 10 years old. This year I am in 4th grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes daily and am learning a lot about topics with this study method. I like to spend more time with my teacher. Thankfully, my mother is making an effort to support me at school despite the school fees being so expensive. “Mosh” (a hot beverage made of oatmeal) is what I prefer to drink.  My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I like to receive my Christmas gift through the LW Feeding Program. What I like to do for my birthday is to eat a delicious cake and receive some gifts from my relatives. Among sports, I prefer soccer. As a humble family, our needs are groceries, corn, and firewood. Thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive through Living Water Adopt-A-Child every December. I hope you enjoy reading my letter. May God bless and protect you everywhere you are!

Kisses and hugs,

Yeinly Briseyda Garcia
