My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing great! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Catholic Church; we go on Sundays. We appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us this time. Let me tell you that my mother suffers from dermatomyositis, and it affects her, especially when she stays under the sun. She visited a doctor, and she cleans the affected area and uses an ointment to relieve the symptoms. My father has already died, but he did not live with us. My mother is Edna Lucia Olayo, and she is 37 years old. She makes a living by taking flowers from Dueñas to Guatemala City; she is the one who supplies our home’s needs. My pets are 2 dogs and 2 cats.

I am Cleilder Yurandy Olayo Salazar, and my current age is 12 years old. This year I was in 4^th grade; I received classes at school which helped my learning a lot. My mother is doing her best since she is the one who supports our family. I want to study and become a policeman in the future. I love the winter; I enjoy rainy and chilly days. Let me tell you that my favorite drink is Coca-Cola. The sport I like the most is football. On my birthday, my mother usually prepares lunch and a cake for me; I enjoy spending my special day with my family. I am so grateful to Living Water for providing me with food, and medical care in the clinics; it is so helpful for me. We are in need of groceries, and please pray for us so we can supply our needs.
