My Story

Hello! This is Derlyn Fabiola Otoy de Leon, and it is a blessing to write this letter to you. Thankfully, I am a healthy girl. I am in ninth grade. My best friend’s name is Ruth. We have been friends for many years. We like going out to eat and talking when we gather. I am pleased to tell you that I celebrated my 15th birthday with loved ones. My heart is overflowing with gratitude to the Almighty for allowing me to live that loving experience. I want to use this opportunity to ask you to pray for my family and me. My father stopped living with us because he had some marital problems with my mom. He makes a living as a motorcycle taxi driver and helps us economically.

Jesus is my Heavenly Father. He has been an unconditional friend and comforter during this challenging situation. I love my mom so much. I appreciate her because she is always at my side when I need her the most. She is healthy and makes a living as a domestic employee in Antigua Guatemala. My family and I still do not attend any church, so the LW staff shared the gospel and invited us to Liberty church recently. I used the opportunity to share all my news. See you later!
