I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping you are doing well. I am writing this letter to tell you a little about my family and me. I am Luis, and I want to start with my family. We are of low resources, and currently, our needs are groceries and corn. We believe in God, and we are assured in our Salvation. We still attend Prince of Peace Church on Thursday and Saturday. We have hens and pigs at home, and we grow corn for our consumption; it is only for one month, so we have to buy it for the rest of the year. My parents are in good health. My mother’s name is Marcela, and she is 34 years old. She works hard at home and looks after our domestic animals. My father’s name is Genaro, and he is 36 years old. He works as a farmer and day laborer; he is a deaf-mute person.
I now want to tell you about my dreams and personal tastes. I want to become an electrician, and I would like to learn English someday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and my favorite drink is banana shake. I love Christmas time because I light fireworks. I enjoy eating fried chicken for my birthday. I am healthy, and I am 9 years old. I am in 2nd grade, and I am happy to attend school in person. It has been a little difficult for my father to support me with my studies. Living Water and you are very important for me because I am blessed with delicious food twice a week. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to have another opportunity to write to you. May God bless you!
All the best
