My Story

My name is Carlos Alexander, and I am glad to greet you through this means. Let me tell you that I live with my mom. We are a Catholic family and attend church on Sundays. We are grateful to a teacher of LW for sharing the gospel and advising us to continue looking for God. As you know, my father has to give my mom and me support through the court since he separated from my mom many years ago. His full name is Carlos Francisco Castillo Jerez, and he is 34 years old. He keeps in touch with my mom to know a little bit about me, although I have almost not talked with him since he left our home. The world economic situation has complicated everything. The support that my father gives us is barely enough to support my needs. Therefore, my mom works hard as a domestic employee in Ciudad Vieja town. Her full name is Irma Yolanda De Paz Pelen, and she is 35 years old. Fortunately, my mom and I are doing well.

As for me, I want you to know that I am 13 years old, and this year, I was in sixth grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because it helps me to learn and understand the lessons much better. Covering my school supplies was hard for my mom this year because expenses increased. As a needy family, our priorities are groceries. My dreams are to become a policeman and speak English. The best holiday for me is Christmas because I love spending this cheerful and lovely time with my family. I like drinking Pepsi, and my favorite sport is soccer. I love having a delicious pizza to celebrate my birthday with my family. To end this letter, I want you to know that LW has been a tremendous blessing for us.
