My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you cordially hoping you are well and blessed by God. I want to share some news about my family and me. I am Susana Angelina Franco Garcia, and I am 10 years old. I want to let you know that we are not attending a Church. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my older brother and encouraged him to seek God and attend church during the visit. This year, I am in 3rd grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes and I am learning a lot about homework. At the moment, my father is making an effort to support me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that he does not have a stable job. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn Spanish and improve my communication with others. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I like to eat “tamales” (a typical dish). Pepsi-Cola is my favorite beverage. About sports, I prefer soccer. I want to tell you that I would like to have a delicious cake for my birthday. By the grace of God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Micaela Garcia de la Cruz. She is 38 years old.  Currently, she does the chores at home.  Moreover, she raises pigs, sheep, and cows to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Carlos Franco Simaj. He is 39 years old.  He earns a living by working as a mason. We grow corn for our family`s consumption. We are a humble family, and our current needs are groceries. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gifts that I receive every year. Thank you for reading my letter. May God bless you richly!

Lots of love,

Susana Angelina Franco Garcia
