My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you by this letter.  I am Alex Alejandro and I am 9 years old.  I am so happy to share news about my family and me. This year, I am attending school, I am in 3^rd grade and receive classes face-to-face. I like to study in this way because I learn a lot and it is easier. My father is doing his best effort to support me at school because he does not have a stable job and the money that he earns is not enough. In the future, I would like to travel to the United States. I enjoy Christmas time because I share it with my family. My favorite beverage is Coca-Cola. I would like to learn English; I think is a very interesting language.  For my birthday day, I ask my mother that prepare delicious “tamales” (a typical dish) to eat.  Among sports, I like to play soccer.

In this opportunity LW staff shared the gospel with us but, we have not taken the decision to attend the church.  My mother is Margarita Poncio Mucia, and she is 51 years old. She does the chores at home. Moreover, she raises domestic animals like hens and cows for selling to get some income. In addition, we grow corn, black beans, and vegetables also for selling in the local plaza. My father is Tomas Franco Ajqui and he is 55 years old. He earns a living by working as a farmer. In addition, we have a small grocery store to support us economically. Thankfully, my family and I are in good health. We are so grateful to you and LW because thanks to your support I receive medical and dental attention in the clinics and also a delicious meal. As we are a big family, our priority needs are corn and groceries.  I hope you like my letter.  May God bless you greatly!
