Hello! This is Mayra Benito Calachij, and I am greeting you with much love, hoping you are doing well. I am writing you this letter to tell you how my family and I are doing this 2023. We attend church twice a week. LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us, and thanks to this, we are now assured in our Salvation. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries and clothes. We have hens at home, and we grow bananas, corn, onions and cabbages for our consumption. My mother’s name is Juana, and she is 43 years old. She is in good health, and she works as a maid to help with the home income. My father’s name is Mariano, and he is 68 years old. He is in good health, and he works as a day laborer in our town.
I am healthy, and I am 14 years old. I am in 6th grade, and I learn more by attending school in person. It has been difficult for my parents to support me with my studies due to our economy. I want to have my own tortillas business, and I would like to learn the English language. I like New Year celebrations, and summer time because there is not any mud and the weather is cool. I enjoy having a lunch with my family for my birthday. I love playing football and basketball. My favorite drink is peach juice. Living Water is very important for us because I am blessed with food and medicine through the feeding program. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to have news from you soon.
All the best
Mayra Benito Calachij
