My Story

This is Cristian Osvaldo Garcia Buchan, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We stopped attending church, so LW Evangelism team encouraged us to seek God again, and we hope to do it soon. We raise hens, and some of them are for selling and others for eating. We do not have crops like other families since we do not have the space to sow. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries. My father’s name is Rene. He is 27 years old, and he works as a farmer to support us. My mother’s name is Elida. She is 27 years old, and she works hard at home. Thankfully, my parents are in good health.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 3rd grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more. It has been difficult for my father to cover my school expenses but he has done his best. I want to work in a bank when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because we eat “tamales”. I would like to have a birthday party someday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking banana shakes. It would be nice to learn English language someday. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the delicious food and medicine I have received for free. I hope to hear from you soon.
