My Story

Hello, I am so grateful to write this short update for you. I pray you are doing well and enjoying many blessings from God. Thank you for taking the time to read my information. I know God led you to my profile for a purpose. My name is Alex Ronaldo Hernandez Chivalan. I am 11 years old, and I am in fifth grade. I am healthy, and my family is also doing well. My mom’s name is Santos Chivalan de la Cruz. She is a housewife. She raises animals and sells them to support economically. My dad’s name is Hilario Hernandez de la Cruz. He went to live and work in the USA three years ago. He works on a cow farm. He always talks with us every week, and he sends money for support each month. I am glad he is able to work, but when I heard that my dad was going to move to the United States to work, I was very sad. I didn’t want him to leave. God gave me peace in my heart and helped me to understand that my dad was leaving so he could support us better financially. My grandma is the most important to me because I always go out with her to watch over the sheep. I also love spending time with my best friend, Maynor.

We have been friends since we were little. We love playing soccer together. My family and I go to church at Life Christian Church. We love the special service for the thanksgiving of the harvest each year. It is our favorite service. My mom was not sure of her salvation, but after talking with the Living Water teacher, she was encouraged to continue growing in her faith. I hope you enjoyed reading my information today.
