My Story

Hello, what a blessing to greet you! My name is Alex Ronaldo, and I hope you find my letter engaging. I am nine years old and live with my parents and siblings. We do not attend church yet because of time, but we are thinking about doing it someday. A teacher from LW encouraged my family and me to look for God. Besides that, we heard the gospel while she collected this information for you. Let me tell you that my parents strive daily for our family. They are both 27 years old. My father is Hilario; he makes a living as a day laborer and picks coffee beans at the coast during the harvest season too. My mother is Santos; she keeps busy doing the chores and raising hens for sale. There is also a pig at home. We usually sell these animals when they are big. Thankfully, my whole family and I are in good health. 

I want you to know that I am in third grade. Nowadays, everything is expensive everywhere, and supporting my school needs is difficult for my parents. They are making a great effort, so I am doing my best at school. I like receiving face-to-face classes because I learn more and better than studying at home. My native language is the Quiche dialect, but I would like to improve my Spanish speaking. I am still younger, but when I am older, I want to be a businessman. At the moment, I enjoy my free time by playing soccer with my brothers. Christmas is my favorite celebration because I love burning fireworks. There are many delicious beverages, but the best for me is orange juice. My birthday was in January, but I remember being so excited because my loved ones sang happy birthday; they made my day very special. My family and I are a humble family and most of our needs are clothes and groceries, especially corn. Despite all, we are grateful to LW. This project is essential for my family and me because this has provided us a great help. I leave you now, but I thank you for taking the time to read my information.
