Hello! My name is Estefani Yojana Gonzalez Amperez. I hope everything is running well in your life. I want to start this letter by asking you to pray for my mom. Unfortunately, she has been so ill because she has cancer in her stomach. Before knowing about her disease, she was in the hospital for a few days because they removed a mass from her stomach. Doctors sent a tiny part of it for tests, which confirmed that my mom has cancer. However, they still do not know what the root of her cancer is, so she has a test pending. She had her first chemotherapy on June 24. She told us that she does not want to attend the next one because the treatment made her feel exhausted. Today, she has trouble walking. We hold her so she does not fall. My father works hard by washing cars on the streets, but he does not earn too much. He is doing well, but he is worried because my mom must take some medicines which are expensive, so I ask you to pray for him too.

We are deeply sorrowful for this situation, but we trust God will make a miracle in my mom’s life. My family and I are members of a Christian church called Christ Comes to Me. As for me, let me tell you that I will turn 13 years old in September. I am in fourth grade and fortunately, I have not gotten sick. I trust Jesus is my Heavenly Father and friend. He is making my family and me strong to move forward from the challenging moment we are passing through. I identify with my mom because she has always taken care of me. I want to share that another impactful moment I have had was my grandmother’s death. Despite the ups and downs, I am grateful to the Lord because I have good friends like Daniela. I met her about two years ago. We usually paint and do other activities during recess. Thank you so much for reading my information!
