My Story

It is a wonderful day to say hello through this and I hope our God is blessing you! My family and I do not attend a specific church, but we attend once in a while. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to find a church and seek God; we appreciate the advice. Thanks to the Lord, my family and I are in good health. My mother is Francisca Hernandez Alvarado, and she is 36 years old. She is a housewife, but sometimes goes to clean houses for other people to get income. My father is Wilson Uriel de Leon Hermandez, and he is 34 years old. He does maintenance work for a company, and he supplies the family’s needs. We do not have pets because there is no space for them.

I am Wilson Daniel de Leon Hernandez, and I am 14 years old. I am an eighth-grade student; I like to attend classes at school because my teachers solve my doubts at the moment. Supporting me at school is hard for my parents because of a lack of resources, especially now that prices increased, and they also have the home expenses. My dream is to study and become a lawyer someday. The English language catches my attention, and I would like to learn how to speak it. The sport I like the most is football. My favorite drinks are water and “atoles” (hot drinks). I get so excited when Christmas comes, we go to visit my relatives in Jutiapa town, and we share a good time with them; I love to do it. I feel so happy when my birthday comes because my family buys a cake and prepares grilled steak for me; they love me so much. I take this opportunity to thank you for all the support I receive through Living Water; the food and medical care are a great blessing for me, and it is an economic savings for my parents. At home, the top priorities are groceries. Well, for the time being that is all. May God bless you wherever you go!
