It is a great blessing to share my updated information with you. Before starting, thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter. My full name is Yosilyn Esmeralda Hernandez de la Cruz, and I am 14 years old. I was in sixth grade a few years ago. Nowadays, I keep busy helping my mom with the housework. I like spending time with my family on weekends. Thankfully, we are all in good health. I live with my mom. She is a housewife and sells typical blouses and beverages like pinole, oatmeal, and polenta. As for my father, let me tell you that he separated from my mom a few years ago. Fortunately, they have a good relationship with my siblings and me. He also helps me economically. He continues working in a grocery store to survive.  

Let me tell you that my mom and I raise pigs, ducks, and hens at home to sell. We do not grow fruits or vegetables because of a lack of space at home. We have been members of the Catholic Church for many years. We trust in God and welcomed Him as our Savior many years ago. A teacher of the LW evangelism team congratulated my mom and encouraged her to continue persevering. We feel so blessed for the spiritual and moral support that LW-Adopt A Child has given us. Besides that, I can receive food and a Christmas gift annually. The food that I enjoy the most at the feeding program is fried chicken.
