My Story

Hello! My full name is Ian Bladimir Carrillo Aguilar and I am grateful for having the opportunity to share my 2026 news with you through this letter. I am 14 years old and I am working hard at school as an eighth-grade student. I have attended the feeding program for about nine years. When I go there, I receive Bible classes. What I like the most is learning new Bible verses alongside my friends. Fortunately, I am in good health. I clean my bedroom and wash the dishes to help my mother with the chores. She is a single parent and works hard in the cleaning department of a mall full-time to provide me with the essentials. While she works, my grandmother takes care of me since we have lived with her for a long time. Fortunately, they are both doing well. I want to use this opportunity to tell you that my mother is grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for all the love, good service, food, but especially the spiritual guidance that they have given to me. She prays that God continues blessing this organization, keeps its staff healthy and blesses all those who support them financially.

I want you to know that we are members of a Catholic Church called Maria Magdalena. We feel motivated to persevere there because of the harmony in the environment that you can feel there. I am pleased because my mother has assurance that she will go to Heaven because she has strived to be closer to God and be a better person every day. She is grateful to brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) because he recently shared the gospel and encouraged her to keep going despite challenges of life. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray for the well-being of my family. I cannot repay you for your prayers, but I know the Lord will reward you a hundred times.
