My Story

It is such a great blessing to greet you through this. My full name is Alicia Maritza Luis Tzoy, and I want you to know that my sister, Jessica, helped me write this letter. I am a healthy 11-year-old girl, and I love playing soccer with my friends. My best friend’s name is Yolanda. We also meet to do homework. I am in second grade again. Failing my grade was a sorrowful experience, but God has helped me not give up and move forward. I attend a Christian Church, which has taught me that Jesus is my Savior. My family and I enjoy taking part in the different activities there, but our favorites are the Thanksgiving services.

I am grateful to the Lord because nobody in my family is sick. My father works hard as a farmer and a day laborer. On the other hand, my mother keeps busy doing the chores and raises chickens for sale to earn a little income. As a good housewife, she is in charge of buying all we need to survive, like clothing. I admire her so much! It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that LW has been a great blessing for me and my community. May God bless you and LW!
