Hello! I feel so happy to share with you a little about me. I hope you are receiving many blessings. I am Juana Patricia Morente Pablo, and I am nine years old. This year, I am in the third grade, and I am attending school every day. Fortunately, I am learning very well. In my free time, I help to fix the threads that my mom uses to weave. I like the delicious lunches that I receive in the feeding program, and I take about fifteen minutes to arrive. When the program was closed due to the pandemic I really missed attending it, and the food, but fortunately, the program is open again. My father is supplying our needs by working as a mason. My mother does the housework. She weaves blouses and typical belts to contribute with the home expenses. We spend good time as a family when we buy some homemade snack in the afternoon. Thank God, we are healthy.
We celebrate Christmas, and we prepare ¨tamales and ponche¨ (typical dish and hot fruit drink). We attend Catholic Church, and it is located about thirty-five minutes from our house. In our country, many churches were closed due to the pandemic, but fortunately, we had services closed door. We lived in our own house, and it is made of block walls, tile roof and concrete floor. We have running water and electricity. There are three rooms and a separate kitchen at home. Our needs are groceries. Fortunately, the pandemic situation did not affect us a lot because my parents had some savings. It was a great help for us to receive groceries from Living Water. We are so thankful to LW for helping us. I want you to know that my mother gave this information about me. I thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Many blessings!
With much love,
Juana Patricia Morente Pablo
