I hope you are doing fine and enjoying a year full of blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ. I send you this letter with updated information about my family and me. My name is Maria Yohana Glendi Morente Calachij, and I am a 12-year-old girl.  I am in good health condition and I am in 3rd grade at school this year. I had a sad experience in my life when my father left to go to the United States. Fortunately, my mother and grandmother prayed for me and God helped me to overcome the sadness.  For me, Jesus is the son of God.  I have a good relationship with my mother because she helps me and understands me in every moment. My best friend`s name is Ingrid an she plays tag with me. In addition, we attend the Feeding Center together. We have been friends for several years.  

My father continues living and working in the United States. As you know he works in a restaurant, but now he earns a living by cleaning it. He sends us money to cover our family needs. His name is Isaias Gomez Morente. My mother contributes to the home expenses by weaving typical clothes and her name is Margarita Morente Calachij. We live in our maternal grandmother`s house and she share the expenses with my parents. I am grateful with God because my parents are in good health and they are doing their best for the family.  

We are attending the Catholic Church and I like to participate in the thanksgiving service that we celebrate there. My mother is assured of her salvation in Jesus and she provided this information. She was encouraged to continue seeking God by the LW teacher who collected this information during the visit. Thank you for your attention and blessings to you in the name of Jesus!
