My Story

Hello! I greet you cordially and I hope you and your family are doing well. It is a good opportunity to tell you a little about my family and me through this letter. About me: I am Maria Yohana Glendy Morente Calachij and I am 12 years old. I am a healthy girl. This year I am in 3^rd grade at school and I go to study every morning.  I spend my weekend by helping my mother to prepare the threads for weaving. LW has blessed my family and my life through the delicious meals for lunch like the fried chicken that I love eating. Moreover, I have received medicine through the medical clinic and special gifts. I enjoyed receiving my special gift during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. My family is grateful for every benefit that I have received from the Ministry.

About my family: My mother`s name is Margarita Morente Calachij. At the moment, she is a housewife and she weaves typical clothes at home. Moreover, she raises pigs to sell and get some income. She is in good health and she accepted Jesus fourteen years ago. My father`s name is Isaias Gomez Morente. He is in good health. He accepted Jesus in his heart some years ago. He also lives and works in the United States. Currently, he earns a living by working in a Restaurant as a janitor in order to support me financially and we have communication with him. I ask for your prayers for my family. As a family, we continue attending the Church of Christ, and my mother is sure of her salvation in Jesus. The LW team encouraged my mother to continue seeking God during the visit. I hope you like my letter and may God bless you greatly! (My mother provided this information to the Evangelism teacher)
