My Story

This is Candy Samara Aleli Xicay Gomez, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are still members of the Catholic Church, and we attend the mass on Sunday. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries. My father’s name is Elver. He is 48 years old, and he is in good health. He works as an electrician to cover our needs. My mother’s name is Melania. She is 42 years old, and she is in good health too. She works as a maid to help my dad financially. We do not have pets or crops at home.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 13 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 7^th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because the explanations are better. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses because the income is low. I want to become a veterinarian when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because the weather is cold. I enjoy a delicious lunch and a cake when it is my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking sodas like Coca-Cola. I would like to learn English language someday. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for all the support received. I say goodbye to you for now.
