My Story

Hello! How are you? This is Merlin Nineth Princesa Taperia Reyes, and I am happy to have the opportunity to write you this letter. I want to tell you about my family first. We are now attending LW Church called Liberty, and we have services on Sundays. LW Evangelism team has shared about God’s Love, and we are grateful for their words. My father’s name is Silverio, and I cannot give you more information about him because he is not part of my life and I do not know anything about him. My mother’s name is Vilma, and she is 31 years old. She is working in a tortillas business to cover our needs. I want to ask you to pray for her because she is having problems with her nerves and is taking medicine to control it. Also pray for us because we are struggling to pay our rent. We have hens at home.

I am in good health, and I turned 13 in May. I am now in 7^th grade, and I am attending a public school. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more, and the teacher’s explanations are better. Sometimes, my mother does not earn enough money to support me with my studies, and it is a very difficult situation for her. I would like to become a doctor and learn English in the future. I like winter season because the weather is cold. My favorite drink is coconut water, and I enjoy playing basketball. I eat cake and hope to receive some presents when it is my birthday. Living Water is important for me because I receive a plate of food and God’s Word through the feeding program; these are very essential things. I hope to hear from you soon.
