My Story

Hello! My name is Bjanka Rusi. I am 12 years old and my birthday is on November 24th. I am doing well and enjoy good health. My favorite color is purple and my future dream is to study and become a pediatric doctor. I go to sixth grade of school for the first part of the day. The school is not very far from my house and I walk there together with my close friends. I enjoy learning and my favorite subject at school is History. I like to spend time to play with my friends as soon as we finish taking the lessons at school and school closes for the day. During the last year my parents registered me to a private course to learn English. I have gained a lot from this course. At present, I am registered into a different course. I am registered in a sport class and there I play volleyball. Doing this I am spending a nice time outside the house. When I go in the house, I like to help my mother by taking care of my little brother who is added to our family recently. He is close to a year old. We all love this little cute baby added as our newest family member. My mother has quit her job working as seller in a market where they were selling different items as clothes, toys, etc. She is dedicated to stay in the house and care for my younger brother till he is at least three years old and starts kindergarten, I still like to ride my bicycle and from time to time, I join my grandfather when he cycles and goes by the lake. We cycle together and I am very happy that I can spend a while with my grandfather too. My family and I live in a village near Pograde and our house is quite nice. My father works in construction and he can do repairs of electric wires as well as pluming. He is also doing quite a lot of job installing units of air conditioners in building and houses of people. Doing this job, he earns quite a good amount and is able to supply all our needs for the living, but yet our family is challenged financially, I am frequenting the church services together with my friends. We do at church performances for Christmas and Easter and we have many other activities take place like summer camps, sport activities, etc. I take part in all these activities and enjoy receiving spiritual and physical care. I receive food packages at the program every six weeks. Thank you for all your care and dedication to help me through the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child.
