My Story

Hello! My name is Kristi Fezollari. I am 7 years old and my birthday is on May 30th. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is blue and my future dream is to go to a proffissional high school and receive lessons so I can become an army officer or police officer. I go to second grade of school and enjoy learning. My favorite subject at school is Visual Arts because there we learn how to do drawing and coloring. I like to learn to paint and in the free time, after I finish studying, I continue to paint so I can gain more skills in this area. I spend the first part of the day at school and when I go in the house, I like to be of help, so I do some cleaning and make sure that I fix the dining table after me and my brother eat our lunch. We try our best to help our mother so that when she returns from her job, at least the house is clean. I frequent the Bible classes of the Living Water chruch in Pogradec every Friday and enjoy my time there, learning about God through the Bible lessons given in our classes from the teachers of the program. My older brother is 15 years old. He is also in the program. He enjoys the church services while I am in the Bible class with the smallest children. We receive food packages constantly at the program and are thankful to Adopt a Child providing food for us and our family.  My family has moved from the villages of Upper Mokra to live in the town and I like living here best. This is our second year livng in Pogradec in a house that my parents are renting. We are four members in my family who are my father, mother, my brother and I. My father works in Greece in construction. He works there for three months and returns in Albania to continue doing the same job, if there are open oportunities. Sometimes he gets hired and sometimes not, so when he is not working, we feel more the financial pressure and have to live with lower income. My mother has found a job already and she sells bread in a shop inside a backery. With her workign constantly, we have something more avaliable to be used to met our needs, so we are not as poor as we used to be. I usually go outside to play with my friends as soon as I finish school. Now that the days are longer and the weather is nicer, I play longer outside. I play very close to the house and my brother is all the time carrying for me as he watches me play from our house. We have started the evening walks by the lake. It is nice to take this time of walking, see people, get fresh air and enjoy a fresh drink on the way. During the evenings or during the day, when I have free time, I like to sit and watch cartoons on TV. I am very thankkful to Adopt a Child for the constant support and care they offer through the Livng Water Church in Pogradec. God bless you for what you do.
