Widow/Widower
Hello! My name is Hajdie Hysa. I am 67 years old and my birthday is on May 25th. I am not doing well regarding health and the doctors have classified me invalid. For this reason, I get a pension dedicated to people who have such needs and are helped this way. I have with my blood pressure and this is because of my age. I go to check my blood pressure in the clinic of the village and every month I need to go to the town for a routine check from the specialist doctor so he can also follow my medical treatments. Usually I go to Prrenjas, who is our nearest town. In this town we also go for shopping very often, since it is very close to our village. I live in the village of Katjel and have 5 members in my family. My husband has died before 31 years and from that time, I have lived as widow. I am living together with my one of my sons and his family and our house offers appropriated living conditions. My son is working in Greece for a season of two during the year and he provides all my living needs. His wife looks after me and she does cleaning, cooking and all the rest of housekeeping. I help where I can be of help and with what I can offer. We own land and my son together with his wife plant vegetables. We deal very less with farming since, it is not very beneficial. Around the land, we have several fruit trees and when time comes, we collect the fruits from trees to boil or dry them. My pension is very small so I deliver it to my son and his wife who cover all my living expenses and everything I need. I like to spend my free time getting together with my neighbors or other friends and chatting. We get together very often, especially when we shop or when we work in the fields. I also like to sit and follow the daily news on television every time that I need to rest. I am thankful to the sponsorship program for the generosity and care that they offer to me. I receive constantly food packages and I enjoy going to church services where we learn about the Lord and receive spiritual encouragement. Thanks for all and God bless you!
