Widow/Widower
Thank you for reading this updated information prepared from the Adopt a Child team, while asking Gezime questions to answer about herself. Gezime says.
Hello! My name is Gezime Hidri. I am 54 years old and my birthday is on June 8th. I am doing well and my health is good. I am happy to have energy and strengh to continue to work and provide for my living. My husband commited suicide many years ago, and I had to become household and do all my best to raise my son and daughter. My daughter has special needs and is ill. She is mute and deaf and has been this way since she was born. She got marrid to a man who had some problems as her, but not that bad. After they had a child, he left her and after they divorced, the son belonged to her husband. My daughter is now living as single lady and can go and see her son very rare. Besides this daughter, I have another daughter and two sons. They are all matured, have grwon up and live their lives being not depended on me to provide for their livng. I receive a pension from the local government and my daughter receives one as well. With these two amounts, we are short in our inocme and for this reason, I have tried my best to find a job. I finally got hired from a company that coultivates olives that are prepared for maket. There are many ladies workign in this company. I am not sure how long, I will work, but I am happy that I found this job oportunity. My sons are helping me and my daughter out. We live near with other family members from my husband and they have all the time helped me and my family. When my husband died, my children were little and the family of my husband have helped us a lot. The program of Adopt a Child has registered me and my daughter and we receive food packages constantly. I am very happy for this generous help. My children were all in the program till they got matured and left. I go to the Bible studies we have for ladies every week and I also frequent the services of the church. Thank you for your kind care that you are offering to me and other widows that are facing challenges such as I do.
