My Story

Hello Sponsor! I just wanted to send you my warm regards and a big hug in this letter. This is Kelly Shamanta Garcia De La Cruz. I am 15 years old now and I am an eighth-grade student. I have attended the feeding program since I was young. What I like best is learning new Bible verses. At home, I help my mother with the sweeping and sorting the clothes. I love the cold. I enjoy listening to the sermons at church.

Family means everything to me and I am grateful that each of them is in good health. My father makes a living both as a farmer and as a day laborer. My mother stays at home doing the chores and taking care of our family. My mother earns extra money raising chickens and hens to sell. My mother tells us that she used to go to the feeding program when she was young, and what she liked best was the Christmas gift. We attend a Christian Church called “Ebenezer”. My mother asks for your prayers for my father’s job and for God to protect him. May God reward you for everything you do for our family and every blessing that you share with us.
