My Story

Hello! How are you? I feel so happy to send you my personal information. My full name is Ivan Alvez Ruiz Saquic and I have belonged to the Feeding Program for many years. I want you to know that my father also attended in the past and he remembers the delicious meals he ate in that time. He is grateful because the Project is a blessing and a great support for many children like me. I like to listen to the stories from the Bible in the Bible classes.

We are believers and we belong to the Prince of Peace Christian Church. As a family, we like to learn about the word of God there. We already have accepted Jesus in our hearts, so we are secure in our salvation. The LW teacher encouraged my mother to continue growing in her spiritual life, and she is grateful for the nice words. She begs for your prayers for our well-being and she provided all this information.

My parents and I are doing well. My mother is a stay-at-home-mom, and my father sustains the family by working as a typical day laborer. In addition, he continues traveling to the coast to pick coffee beans from November to January for harvesting time. I live with them at home, but my grandparents and uncles also live with us. I help my father to gather firewood. I am eleven years old and I am in 4^th grade this year. I prefer hot weather because I take advantage of this to go to the river for a splash.
