My Story

This is Ivan Alvez, your sponsored child. I am happy to greet you through this letter. I want to tell you a little about my life and family. Thankfully, we are all healthy and doing well. We are happy because there is a new member in our family. He was born in February and his name is Alexander. I am grateful to God because He took care of my mom while she was giving birth; I could feel His presence through that time. Jesus is my Savior and of the world. I am 9 years old, and I am in 3^rd grade this year. My cousin, Ana, and I have been friends since we were little children, and we love playing soccer.

My father supports the family financially. He works as a day laborer with our neighbors, and he goes to pick coffee beans at the coast for three months at the end of the year. I identify most with my father, and I like to accompany him to work. My mother keeps busy taking care of us and doing the housework; she helped me to write you this letter. We are members of a Pentecostal Church called Spring of Life. I enjoy the vigils at my church because there is participation of different brethren who sing beautiful praises. Well, I close my letter asking God to bless you in a big way.
