I excitedly greet you through this means, hoping you are having a fantastic day wherever you are. My name is Heidy Fernanda, and this is my story. I am a member of a Christian Church called Tree of Justice. My family and I usually attend our church on Sundays. My father is Eswin Eimer Sanchez Guate, and he is 43 years old. He still makes a living as a street vendor. He usually sells plastic bags, scrunchies, hair clips, and other items. My mom is Ana Rebeca Batz Zapeta, and she is 29 years old. She works hard by washing clothes for other people to help my father with the expenses. She also does errands to earn extra money. Fortunately, we are all doing well. As for pets, let me tell you that we have two lovely cats. Now, let me tell you a little bit more about me. I am 11 years old, and this year, I was in third grade. I was glad to receive face-to-face classes because I understood the teacher’s explanations much better.
Most of the time, our economic situation has not gone well. It was difficult for my parents to cover my school supplies this year. Some of our greatest needs are groceries, a new closet, a new bed, and school supplies for next year. My dream is to become a doctor and speak English. Therefore, I would love to count on your prayers for me. Christmas is the best holiday for me because of its lovely and cheerful environment. I like drinking horchata, and my favorite sport is soccer. When my birthday comes, I love having a delicious cake to celebrate with my family. To end this letter, I want you to know that my mom helped me to give all this information to an AAC member to share it with you. Besides that, let me tell you that LW has been a huge blessing for my family and me because of all the support we have received. I say goodbye to you for now, but if you want to hear something else from me, do not hesitate to ask me. See you later!
Kind regards,
Heidy Fernanda Sanchez Batz
