My Story

Hello, it is a pleasure for me to be able to greet you and express my gratitude for all the support you have given me. I am Pedro Daniel Rodriguez Cachupe your sponsored child, and I want to share about me and my family. This year I will turn 15 years old on December 23. For this special day, we usually eat cake as a family.  I no longer attend school, so I prefer to work in a plant nursery in order to help my family with our expenses. I would like to became an agronomist. When I grow up, I would like to become an agronomist, and if possible, study an English course to improve my employment opportunities. Summer is the best season of the year because I like the sunny days, and it is the best time to enjoy a cold Pepsi. My favorite sport is soccer. At home I have two dogs and 1 parakeet, and it is so cute.

Let me tell you a little about my family. My father is Cecilio Isabel Rodriguez Martinez, and he is 53 years old. He struggles to support our family by working as a “bici-taxi” in our town. My mother’s name is Yesenia Cachupe Ajin, and she is 43 years old. She stays at home taking care of us and preparing delicious meals for the family. We are members of a Christian Church, and we meet on Sunday. By the grace of God, all my family and I are in good health. Thank God we have what we need. I thank LW for the support I have received, and I am happy because I have always been well received in the Feeding Program. May God continue blessing you greatly.
