My Story

I greet you fondly, praying God’s grace is on you This is Karen Julissa, and I am glad to share my last news with you through this letter. Let me tell you that my family and I still attend Ebenezer Foursquare Church on Sundays. We are glad because we know Jesus is our Savior. My father, Misael Salazar, is 37 years old. He continues working in a nursery plant in San Miguel Duenas town. My mother does her best to help him with her income. Her name is Karla Martinez, and she is 41 years old. She makes a living as a domestic employee. Thankfully, my whole family and I are healthy. We are a needy family, and our priorities are groceries and prayers. Taking advantage of this moment, I want you to know that LW is a meaningful project for my family and me because we have received spiritual and material help.

I would love to make a living as a secretary. Therefore, I am doing my best at school. I am in twelfth grade, which is the last year of my professional career to graduate and become a bilingual secretary. I agree to receive face-to-face classes because I learn the lessons so much better. My parents struggle to support my school supplies and by God’s grace, they have not had economic trouble. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I can spend lovely moments with my loved ones. I love drinking strawberry shake and soccer is my favorite sport. I would love to learn a new language like English. I just turned nineteen years old in August. My family usually prepares a delicious lunch and buys a cake to celebrate birthdays. I enjoy it a lot because I know they do it with so much love for me. This is all for now about my life. Before saying goodbye to you, I want you to know that a teacher from LW spoke with me to collect all my news for you. I send you many kisses and hugs, but I hope you find this update engaging.

Sincerely yours,

Karen Julissa Salazar Martinez
