My Story

It is a pleasure to greet you cordially and wish you many blessings in your daily activities. I am Jose Julian Lopez Ordoñez and I am 17 years old. At the moment, we are not attending the Church. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with us and for their encouraging words during the visit. This year, I am in 9^th grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day and I am learning a lot with this study method. Thank God, my father is making an effort to support me and my siblings at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that he does not have a stable job and good health. Sometimes, it is very difficult to cover every expense. My dream is to become a chef or a nurse. I speak Spanish where I live, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite season of the year is summer because I like to play with water and go out. What I like to do for my birthday is to eat delicious cake. Pepsi-Cola is what I like to drink. Among sports, I prefer soccer. In this opportunity, I want to ask for your prayers for my father because he continues to have kidney failure problems. He receives hemodialysis treatment 3 days per week in order to improve his health.  I want to tell you that by the grace of God, the rest of my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Norma Isabel Ordoñez Hernandez. She is 44 years old. Nowadays, she does chores at home. My father`s name is Jose Leonardo Lopez. He is 39 years old. Currently, he continues working as a guard in “El Tempisque Farm” in order to support the family financially in spite of his health problems. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I hope you enjoy reading my letter. Thank you for the Christmas gift that I received at the end of the year through LW. May God take care of you everywhere you are!
