It is a joy to greet you in this beautiful day, hoping you are doing great! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Ebenezer Church, and we go on Saturdays. I am healthy, but I want to ask for your prayers for my mother who suffers from high blood pressure. She has already visited a doctor and is taking medicines. However, there are times she cannot buy it due to a lack of resources. Also, my little brother Santiago has a heart murmur, but he is under medical care. My mother is Damaris Patricia Rivera Soto, and she is 32 years old. She continues working as an operator in a cloth factory. My father is Marvin Jeovanni Miranda Miranda, and he is 39 years old. He makes a living as a blacksmith, and although, he is not living with us, he gives a little money. We have a cat.
I am Giovanni Carlos Andres Miranda Rivera, and I am a 16-year-old boy. This year I am in 9th grade; my learning is better because I comprehend when my teacher explains to us. Because of a lack of resources, it is hard for my mother to cover all the school expenses; and my father does not want to support us. When I grow up, I would like to be a professional football player. The language I would like to learn is Catalan language; it is so interesting. Playing football is so much fun; it is my favorite sport. Of all drinks, my favorites are water and cream juice. My favorite date is Mother´s Day because I have a very hard-working woman as a mother; I am so grateful to have her and for her struggles to support me and my brother. My family does not have the custom to celebrate our birthdays. Being part of Living Water has been a great blessing for me because I receive tasty meals, medical attention in the clinics and receive spiritual support which is very important. At home, the main need for us are groceries, shoes and school supplies. I hope you like my letter. So long. May God bless you greatly!
Bunch of hugs,
Giovanni Carlos Andres Miranda Rivera
