My Story

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. This is Javier, and I hope your loved ones and you are doing well. My family and I do not attend any church at the moment, but we are grateful to LW because a teacher of the evangelism team shared the gospel and encouraged us to gather at Liberty Church. Besides the spiritual support, my siblings and I receive delicious food, Christmas gifts, and medicines, so we are deeply thankful. My mother, Ingrid de Leon, works as a domestic employee and cooks for other people to help my father with expenses. My father, Edgar Gonzalez, makes a living by selling gas cylinders in his own business. Fortunately, they are doing well. We have many necessities at home, but the most demanding are food supplies.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, I would like to count on your prayers for my family so that we can trust in God and look for him. I am eleven years old, and I attend school as a fifth grader. Thanks to the face-to-face classes, I understand so much better how to do homework. I look forward to becoming a chef and speaking English when I am older. So, I will do my best to accomplish my dreams. Christmastime is the best celebration; I love it because of the cold weather and vacations. I like drinking watermelon juice, and basketball is my favorite sport. My birthday was in January. I love spending time with my family to celebrate my birthday. Do you have pets? I have a lovely turtle. I say goodbye for now, but I hope to tell you more about my pet soon. May God bless you!

Kind regards,

Javier Santiago Gonzalez de Leon
