My Story

Hello! I am Luisa Malo. I am happy to share with you about myself and my family going through the questions that the Adopt a Child team asks of me to answer. I am 9 years old and my birthday is on December. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is pink and my future dream is to study and become nurse. I like to work as nurse to help the people for be healthy to recovered from their illnesses. I frequent primary school and enjoy learning. My favorite subject is Albanian Language. The school is in the village and not far from my home and I walk to get there every morning with my friends. After school, I meet to play outside with my friends who live near my house. We enjoy playing our games outside, especially during this season in which the weather is warm and sunny. When I go inside the house, I like to spend time to care for my brother who is younger. Doing this, I help my mother to have more time to do the housekeeping and what she needs to do for the day. I live in a village near Prrenjas. I have in my family my father, mother and brother, so our family contains four persons. Our house is in good conditions and both my parents are working full time. For this reason we are not considered too poor, but we are still financially challenged and life in the village has other challenges to face. My father works as taxi driver. He has his own car and offers transportation to the people who hire him to travel to the nearest town of Perrenjas or even for longer distances. My mother works as Finance manager and she is also receiving a monthly pay. We own land, but my parents are not dealing with agriculture because they have their full time jobs. My brother goes to preschool kindergarten and I walk him there while I walk to go to school for myself. We go to the Bible classes of the program twice a week and enjoy the activities that the teachers of the program organize for us. We receive food packages constantly and are happy that these packages are a good provision of food for us and our family.
