My Story

Hello Madrina, I feel blessed because you are present in my life. Thank you for loving me! I am Maricela Chingo and I am sure that Jesus is my God. As you know, we do not belong to any church. My mother Guadalupe helped to collect all this information during the visit and LW team shared the gospel with her, but she is not thinking about seeking a church yet. I admire her and we spend time together by doing the house work and we like to cook together. My mother is a hardworking mom and she continues washing clothing for others and making tortillas. Furthermore, she is helping the neighbors to peel corn to earn money to cover some of our financial needs. Sadly, she is suffering from diabetes and has not visited the doctor yet due to a lack of money. She only buys and takes some pills that she buys in the drugstore. I want to open my heart and tell you that Mr. Pablo Riz is my biological father and not my stepfather. Unfortunately, he did not legally recognize me when I was born due to legal problems. I only have my mother`s last names, but I know that he is my father. He continues working as a day laborer to support us and thankfully, he is in good health.

I am studying the fifth grade and I am so happy because God has helped me to pass my grades. He gives me his wisdom to learn and to reach my goals every year. It has been my good experience.  I am a thirteen-year-old teenager. Evelyn is the name of my best friend and we met two years ago. We like to talk a lot when we have the opportunity. I am thankful to God for my health. This was my little story. I love you so much!
