Hello, what a blessing to greet you! I am Fredy, and I hope you are enjoying your day along with your loved ones. Let me tell you that I still attend Assembly of God Church. My family and I usually attend our services every Tuesday. I am grateful to the Lord because you are my sponsor and I can receive your love through LW. This project has been a great blessing for me because of food and medicines. My mother, Dominga Gomez, is 49 years old. She keeps busy doing the chores and washes clothes for other people to get extra income. My father, Felipe Chiquiaj, makes a living as a day laborer, and his days of work are four or five days weekly. I love my parents because they do their best for our family, although it is hard for them to cover our necessities and school expenses. Therefore, I would like to count on your prayers for us. Our priorities are clothes and food supplies, especially corn.
To survive, we grow some legumes and lemons for our consumption. Thankfully, nobody is sick at home including myself. I am nine years old and I attend school as a second grader. Receiving face-to-face classes has helped me a lot to learn my lessons. I would like to make a living as a mason when I am older because I want to help my family economically. I already know a few Spanish words and expressions, but I would like to increase my knowledge to speak it fluently. I like drinking Coca-Cola, and my favorite sport is soccer. Celebrating birthdays is something that I enjoy so much, especially if it is mine. When it comes, I have fun with my family and eat a delicious snack to celebrate. Besides this, I also love the fair of my town because of the happiness that activities bring my family and me. This is all for now, but I hope to hear your last news soon. May God bless you!
From the bottom of my heart,
Fredy Alexander Chiquiaj Gomez
