My Story

I am Anthony, and I greet you lovingly through this means. I want you to know that my family and I attend mass every Sunday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism teacher because he shared the gospel with me. While he encouraged me to strengthen my faith, he used that moment to collect this information for you. Undoubtedly, LW is a meansful project for me. My siblings and I have received a lot of help there. My mother, Lidia De Leon, is 39 years old. She works as a domestic employee in Antigua to support our family. As for my father, let me tell you that he separated from my mother. Nowadays, he occasionally helps us economically. His name is Benito Bucu and he is 46 years old. I do not know what he does for a living. Almost my whole family and I are healthy. My youngest brother, Jonathan, suffers from health problems. Fortunately, he is under medical treatment.

I am twelve years old. What I love the most is having a delicious lunch to celebrate my birthday with my family. My biggest dream is to become a soldier. I also would like to learn how to speak English. Therefore, I am doing my best as a sixth-grader. The face-to-face classes are the best to understand your lessons, so I prefer them. Our economy is not going well. It has been hard for my mother to pay for my school needs because she has to cover many other needs, such as shoes and medicine for my brother. I want to use this time to ask for your prayers for her. Holy Week is my favorite because I love getting involved in all the activities at my church. My favorite sport is soccer. There are many soft drinks, but I like drinking Coca-Cola. To end this letter, I thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope to hear from you soon.
